Merchants receive payment upfront for approved transactions, while Sezzle manages the shopper payment plan and assumes primary responsibility for consumer credit risk, subject to the terms of the merchant agreement. Integration with Sezzle is straightforward and can help attract new customers from Sezzle’s extensive network of engaged users.

How to apply for Sezzle:
You can apply for Sezzle by following this link and then entering your email address and creating a password. You will then be prompted to enter a phone number capable of receiving text messages for two-factor authentication. Once your business information is entered and your application is submitted, a member of our Applications team will typically contact you within 2–3 business days.
Please note that in order to be able to offer Sezzle to your shoppers, you will need to have a few things in place first:
- A website on a supported platform - To see the full list of supported platforms, please click here.
- A fully shoppable site:
- All products are listed and priced, with pictures and item descriptions
- Return and shipping policies, contact information, and procedures are easy to view and access from the main page
- No empty listings or broken pages (i.e. "Your item here," or "Describe your shop here" pages/sections)
- A site that is not password protected - If your site is password protected, please provide temporary access credentials so our review team can evaluate the site.
- An existing primary payment option (i.e. Primary Credit/Debit card payment processor)
While this does not guarantee your approval, your site will not be approved if these elements are not in place when we review it.

Application Follow-up
Once your application is submitted, your account will show as “Pending,” and a member of our approvals team will be in touch with you within three business days. Please check the email address you used at sign-up, as that's where you'll receive further correspondence (including any requests for additional information). Once they have approved your store, you will have full functionality, including the ability to log in and add a bank account.
If you receive an email or you log in to your application with the notice that your application has been declined, please reach out to our team at accounts@sezzle.com, and our team can offer further information.
How to add another store:
If you have another store you would like to onboard with Sezzle, you may add that store via your Sezzle Merchant Dashboard (Settings > Add Another Store)

Additionally, you're able to set up the same bank account to receive funds for multiple Sezzle accounts.
