If your shoppers see Sezzle as a payment option but selecting it does not redirect them to our site, it’s likely a problem with your API keys. You will just need to re-copy/paste both the public and the private API keys we provide in your Sezzle account into your Shopify account.
You can retrieve your API keys by clicking here, then you’ll need to log into your Shopify dashboard. We recommend having two tabs open, one with your Sezzle account open and one with your Shopify account open since you’ll need to navigate back and forth between the two accounts.
In your Shopify dashboard, navigate to “Settings,” “Payment Methods,” “Alternative Payment Methods,” and then select “Edit” next to Sezzle. Paste in both the public and the private keys from our site into Shopify (it’s normal for the private key to turn into dots). Once you save the change, we recommend trying a test checkout to make sure shoppers are redirected to the Sezzle login screen after completing the order. Once this happens, your checkout is fully functional - you do not need to actually sign up and place an order.
