If you're unsure of why your payout is less than expected or why you have a negative balance, this could be two reasons:

- A refund was processed and there were insufficient funds in your Refund Reserves. Learn more here: What are Refund Reserves?
To ensure the responsible use of Sezzle, we will freeze a merchant's account if there is a negative balance.
While your account is frozen, you will be unable to connect a bank account or settle the debt with a card. In that case, we may invoice you for the amount owed. Please contact our support team here as soon as possible to resume Sezzle.
