Sezzle's two-factor authentication feature exists to keep your merchant account secure! Two-factor authentication is required for all merchant accounts and requires each user associated with your merchant account to verify their identity before logging in. This usually will take place via a one-time password or by using security questions. Setting up two-factor authentication will not only make sure the correct individuals have access to your account, but it also enhances the security of your private information and prevents fraudulent activity on your account.
Please note: if multiple people need access to a merchant account, or if there are shared credentials, a new user will need to be created for each individual user before setting up two-factor authentication for your account.
