- Login to your Merchant Dashboard
- Go to Payment Methods under Settings
- Go to “Add Refund Reserves,” and enter the currency and amount that you want your reserves to be set for.
- Click “Hold My Money,” and you are all set!
What if I don’t have the funds available in my Sezzle account that I’d like to assign to Refunds Reserves at the time of setting it up?
That’s okay! The amount will be held from incoming / new orders. Just make sure it’s an amount that makes sense for the usual amount of Sezzle orders you receive.
I have U.S. and Canadian shoppers. Do I need to set up Refund Reserves for both?
Yes. You will need to “add reserves” for both USD and CAD separately. We would recommend basing your minimums on the bulk of the currency that your orders come through.
